Bupleurum falcatum var. marginatum (Wall. ex DC.) C.B. Clarke
Perennial, usually 1 stem from the base. Lower leaves linear to lanceolate, acute to obtuse, mucronate or acuminate, veins 7-9, leaf base broad, margin broad, white; upper leaves similar but shorter. Involucral bracts 1-5, unequal, linear. Rays 3-6, filiform, 1-2 cm long. Involucel of 5 linear bractlets, veins 3, as long as the flowering umbellet. Fruit oblong, 3-4 mm long; ridges thin, whitish; furrows 3-vittate.
Type: Himalayas, Wallich 556 (K).
Distribution: Central Asia to China, Himalayas in India & W. Pakistan.
