Biennial or perennial herbs up to 60 cm. Stem solitary or many, branches spreading or not. Hairs subpatent, mixed with subappressed hairs. Basal leaves oblanceolate to ± spathulate, 40-85 x 6-15 (-17) nun, covered on both surfaces with unequal hairs. Inflorescence elongating in fruit, lax. Pedicels 1-2 mm in fruit. Nutlets ± orbicular, 5-8 mm long, wings broad, dentate, with teeth bearing glochiddia. Style up to 1 mm long.
Represented by 2 varieties in Pakistan.
