Astragalus laspurensis Ali in Phyton. 11 : 139. 1966.
Perennial herb. Stem branched, cylindrical, pubescent, hairs white. Leaf imparipinnately compound, petiole c. 3-15 mm long, rachis c. 1.2-2.6 cm long; leaflets 5-15, c. 2-6 mm long, c. 1-2 mm broad, obovate, obtuse to subtruncate, pubescent on both sides, hairs white; lateral leaflets opposite to alternate; stipules amplexicaul, c. 2 mm long. Inflorescence a peduncled raceme; peduncle c. 3.5-7 cm long. Bracts c. 2-2.5 mm long, pubescent, hairs black. Pedicel c. 1 mm long. Calyx c. 8 mm long, pubescent, hairs black and white, teeth c. 2-3 mm long. Corolla pale purple and yellow. Vexillum c. 9-10 mm long. Wing c. 9-10 mm long. Keel c. 7-8 mm long. Ovary c. 3 mm long, pubescent, hairs white.

Distribution: Endemic to Chitral (Pakistan).
