Young branches pubescent, rachis c. 2.5 cm long, persistent, spiny; leaflets 4-6, c. 12-15 mm long, oblanceolate, obtuse, mucronate, somewhat silky below when young, later becoming subglabrous. Inflorescence 1-2-flowered, subsessile. Calyx c. 9-10 mm long, silky-pubescent, teeth deltoid, c. 3-3.5 mm long. Corolla c. 2.5 cm long. Ovary pubescent, 10-15-ovuled, style incurved. Young fruit pubescent.
