Perennial herb, caespitose, c. 7 cm or less long. Stem trailing, branched, internodes almost absent. Leaf imparipinnately compound, petiole 5-18 mm long, rachis c. 10-25 mm long; leaflets 11-15- (19), c. 2-4 mm long, c. 1 mm broad, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, densely pilose on both sides; stipules c. 5-7 mm long. Inflorescence a peduncled raceme, peduncle 3-4 cm or less long. Bracts c. 3-4 mm long. Pedicel c. 1-3 mm long. Calyx c. 4-5 mm long, pubescent, teeth c. 1-2 mm long. Vexillum c. 5-7 mm long. Wing 6-7 mm long. Keel c. 5-6 mm long. Fruit c. 9-11 mm long, 2-3 mm broad, pubescent, longitudinally septate, 5-7-seeded.

Holotype: Western Tibet, 16000-17000 ft., Thomson (LE-not seen).
Distribution: Pakistan (N.W.F. Province); Kashmir; Tibet.
