Stem elongated, subglabrous to sparsely pubescent, branched. Stipules foliaceous, c. 5-8 mm long, glabrous to subglabrous above, pilose below, united at the base, leaf opposed. Leaf imparipinnately compound, petiole c. 5-19 mm long, scantily sericeous, rachis (excluding petiole) c. 3-7.5 cm long, scantily sericeous; petiolule less than 1 mm long; leaflets c. 9-19, lateral leaflets opposite to subopposite, elliptic to elliptic-ovate, entire, acute to obtuse. Inflorescence an axillary pedunculate raceme, peduncle c. 2.5-12.5 cm long, sericeous. Bract c. 1.5-4 mm long, pubescent; pedicel c. 1 mm long, pubescent, hairs black. Calyx c. 5-5.5 mm long, pubescent, hairs black, teeth c. 1.5-2.0 mm long. Corolla deep purpleviolet blue. Vexillum c. 10 mm long. Ovary stipitate, stipe c. 1.5 mm long. Pod not seen.
