Scandix pinnatifida Vent.
Plants slender, up to 20 cm tall, pubescent. Leaves tripinnatisect; segments 2-10 mm long; filiform. Involucre of 1 linear bract or lacking. Rays 1 or 2. Involucel of several pinnately divided, pubescent bractlets; segments filiform. Flowers sessile. Fruits 6-15 per umbellet, 1.5-2.5 cm long, pubescent; margin bristly; beak 2-3 times as long as the seed; styles less than 1 mm long.
Type: Described form Syria.
Distribution: Southern Europe, Middle East, Iran, Afghanistan.
