Goebelia alopecuroides var. tomentosa Boiss.Sophora alopecuroides subsp. tomentosa (Boiss.) Yakovl.
Differs from Sophora alopecuroides var. alopecuroides in having densely pilose branches and leaves.
Fl.Per. April-October.
Lectotype: D-4 ‘Belutschia circa Kalat et Quettah’ Stocks (G-not seen); Isotype (K).
Distribution: Pakistan, (N.W.F. Province, Baluchistan); Afghanistan; Persia; Iraq; Turkey.
The two varieties have different geographical distribution, but mixed populations are known to occur in Iran.
