Decumbent to erect, branched from the base, appressed-hairy. Leaflets 6-15 mm long, 3-8 mm broad, obovate, cuneate, dentate above; stipules semisagittate dentate. Inflorescence sessile, 2-5-flowered. Calyx 3-4 mm long, teeth about as long as the tube. Corolla 4-5 mm long, yellow. Fruit 2-3 cm long, 1-1.5 mm broad, reticulately netted, areoles oblong length-wise, many-seeded.

Holotype: ‘In arenosis ad rivulam Burgan circa montes Tarbagatai, Karelin & Kirilow (MW).
Distribution: Pakistan; Russia, (European part,) Caucasus, Western Siberia, Central Asia; Turkey; Iraq.
