Erect to prostrate herb, branches angular with yellowish, stiff, spreading hairs. Leaf pinnately trifoliolate, petiole 3.5-8.5 cm long, pubescent, hairs stiff, spreading; leaflets 3.5-6.0 cm long, mostly palmatipartite, pubescent on both sides, lobes acute; leaflets stipululate, stipulule 4-6 mm long; stipule 5-10 mm long, attached c.1 mm from the base. Inflorescence an axillary pedunculate raceme, peduncle 1.5-6.0 cm long, pubescent, hairs yellowish, spreading. Bracts c. 4.0 mm long, pubescent. Pedicel c. 1 mm long. Calyx c. 2.5 mm long, sparsely pubescent, teeth c. 1.0 mm long. Corolla yellow. Vexillum 4.5-5.0 mm long. Fruit 3.5-6.5 cm long, 4.0-5 mm broad, pubescent in the early stages, becoming glabrous, 5-7 (-8)-seeded.
