Stem elongated, c. 30-60 cm long, young internodes pubescent, hairs appressed, white. Leaves imparipinnately compound, c. 3.5-5.0 cm long; leaflets 21-25, c. 6-13 mm long, oblong, obtuse or emarginate, appressly pubescent; stipules minute, lanceolate, spreading. Inflorescence an axillary pedunculate raceme. Bracts very minute, pedicel c. 1-1.5 mm long. Calyx c. 3-4.5 mm long, pubescent, hairs black and white, teeth c. 1-1.5 mm long. Vexillum c. 12-16 mm long. Keel slightly longer than wings and shorter than the vexillum. Fruit c. 9-13 mm long, unilocular, pubescent, hairs black; stipe longer than calyx.

Distribution: Pakistan (N.W.F. Province, Kashmir); India (N.Punjab, Kumaun), 5000-13000 ft.
