Cupressus funebris auct.
Tree up to 18 m tall with wide spreading branchlets, drooping, bright green. Male cones c. 3 mm long, at the tips of branchlets. Female Cones 8‑10 mm broad, globose. Scales rugose with a sharp process. Seeds 3‑5 per scale,
reddish‑brown.

Sparingly cultivated in gardens; Distribution: Native to China. Cultivated elsewhere.
