Scandix iberica M. Bieb., Fl. Taur.-Cauc. 1:425. 1808. Boiss., l.c. 915; Hiroe, l.c. 34.
Plants slender, c. 20 cm tall, branched, spreading, pubescent. Leaves tripinnatisect; segments filiform, up to 1 cm long. Involucral bracts lacking. Rays 5-9, 2-4 cm long. Involucel of 5-8 linear, white margined, ciliate bractlets, connate, deflexed. Petals emarginate, outer larger.
Type locality: Described from Georgia (Caucasus).
Distribution: Caucasus, Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Iran.
This has been collected only once in W. Pakistan and this record is far to the east of its known range.
