Plants 20-50 cm tall, glabrous to slightly pubescent. Stem base fibrous. Leaf bases sheathing. Leaves 3-4-pinnate, fern-like, much divided into short linear segments. Involucre of I-5 divided or entire linear bracts or lacking. Rays 12-25, minutely pubescent. Involucel of 5-10 white margined long linear bractlets, longer than the flowering umbellet, sometimes lobed at the top. Calyx teeth linear. Flowers pedicels 4-6 mm long. Fruit oblong, 4 mm long, 2-2.5 mm broad; dorsal and intermediate ridges narrowly winged, lateral broadly winged; dorsal furrows 1-vittate, lateral 1-2-(3)-vittate; commissure 4-6-vittate. Inner seed face plane.
