Peucedanum kotschyi Boiss.
Plants glabrous, dichotomously branched. Leaf segments oblong to cuneate. Involucre and involucel of oblong, white margined bracts and bractlets. Umbels 8-12 radiate. Petals white.
Type: Described from Northern Iran.
Distribution: Iran, W. Pakistan.
Besides these species, C.B. Clarke in Hook. f., Fl. Brit. Ind. 2: 711. 1879, has described P. skardicum from Burji La in Baltistan at about 3500 m. The plant was c. 1 m tall with ovate to elliptic leaflets; rays 10-12; petals yellow. There were no mature fruits. It is not possible to say definitely whether the plant belonged to Peucedanum or some other genus.
