Statice macrorrhabdos Boiss.
Caudex woody, leaves all radical, rosulate, oblong-spathulate, obtuse or emarginate, rarely minutely mucronate, obscurely 3-5-nerved. Scape terete, branched; 3-4-flowered spikelets in clusters along the scape branches. Bracts ovate, coriaceous, broadly hyaline-margined, outer and middle bracts subequal, mucronulate. Calyx funnel-shaped; tube 3 times as long as the innermost bract, with tufts of small spreading hairs; limb truncate 5-ribbed. Petals bifid half way down.

Type: Described from Baluchistan, Stocks (K).
Distribution: Dry mountainous regions of W. Pakistan and Afghanistan.
