    Annual, 20-40 cm tall, erect, branched above, glabrous (except siliculae), subglaucous. Basal leaves oblanceolate, sessile or subsessile, 4-7 cm long, 1-2 cm broad, entire or obscurely toothed, apex obtuse or rounded; middle cauline leaves oblong-ovate, sessile, auricled-cordate, amplexicaul, 2.5-6 cm long, 1.5-2.5 cm broad, entire; uppermost leaves linear-oblong, auricled at base; all leaves glabrous, somewhat glaucous. Racemes 15-25-flowered, lax, up to 10 cm long in fruit, ebracteate. Flowers c. 2.5 mm across, yellow; pedicel 3-5 mm long, filiform, increasing up to 15 mm in fruit and becoming ± deflexed. Sepals c. 2 mm long, 1 mm broad. Petals 2.5-3 mm long, 1 mm broad, oblong, cuneate at the base, apex rounded. Stamens c. 1.5:2 mm long; anthers c. 0.3 mm. Siliculae c. 9 mm long, 4.5 mm broad, ± lamp-shaped with short and broad neck, base rounded, apex truncate and sub-emarginate, ± densely hairy with minute simple hairs, narrowly equally winged all around with slightly thickened margins; seed 3-4 mm long, 1 mm broad, ellipsoid, dark-brown.

    Distribution: Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turcomania.
