Perennial (or biennial?), about 10 cm long, branched mostly from the base, suberect or spreading, glabrous or minutely pubescent; branches filiform, apparently forked, flexuose. Radical leaves 1-2 (-2.5) cm long, mostly. 3-lobed, with narrow oblong lobes; cauline leaves narrowly linear, 4-10 mm long, c. 1 mm broad, entire, obtuse. Racemes 3-4-flowered, lax. Flowers 4-5 mm across, yellowish; pedicels 1-2 cm long, flexuose, spreading. Sepals c. 3 mm long, 1 mm broad. Petals 5-6 mm long, 1.5-2 mm broad. Stamens c. 2.5: 3 mm long. Ovary narrow, oblong, with a depressed sessile stigma. Siliculae not known.

Type: B-9 Karakorum glaciers, Doyan to Ramghat, Conway 305 (K).

Incompletely known from the type gathering only. This species probably scaped the attention of Pobedimova (l.c.), who makes no mention of it anywhere in her work, or as Hedge (personal correspondence) suggests that it is probably not a Cochlearia at all. More gatherings with fruits are needed to decide its fate.
