Farsetia ramosissima Hochst. ex Boiss., F1.Or.,suppl. 30. 1888. Fl. W. Trop.Afr.1:96.1954; Rech.f., l.c. 138.
Very similar to the previous species but annual, with many elongated thin branches from the base, lax but profusely fruiting with usually short siliquae, (7-) 10-15 mm long, 4-6 mm broad (excl. 2-2.5 mm long style), generally rounded at both ends.
Syntypes: Egypt: Red Sea Coast area Schweinfurth (G); Cordofan, Abu Gerad, kotschy 26 (W).
Fl. Per.: March-May.
Distribution: Egypt, Nubia, and Pakistan.
In Pakistan also this species is confined to the Arabian Sea coast area of Baluchistan.
