Malcolmia cabulica var. toppinii (O.E. Schulz) Jafri, stet. not.
Malcoemia toppinii O.E. SchulzStrigosella toppinii (O.E. Schulz) Botsch.
Very similar to the type variety in all respects except the siliquae, which are short, c. 10 mm long only, minutely pubescent to almost glabrous, and pedicels 4-5 mm long, slightly thickened in fruit.
Fl. Per.: March-May.
Type: Pakistan, Chitral, Drosh, S.M. Toppin 106 (K).
Distribution: Endemic.
Although Rech. f. (l.c.) recognised Malcolmia cabulica and Malcolmia toppinii separate species but inadvertantly cited Toppin 106 under both the species.
