Fagonia bruguieri var. haplotricha Hadidi in Rech. f., Fl. Iran. 98:8. t. 8. f. 2. 1972.
A subprostrate, greyish-green, basally woody subshrub, beset with acute unicellular hairs. Braches sulcate, internodes up to 15 mm long. Lower leaves trifoliolate, with c. 4 mm long petiole, upper leaves unifoliolate, almost sessile; leaflets linear-lanceolate, 5-8 mm long, mucronate; stipular spines shorter than internodes. Flowers pinkish-purple, c. 1 cm across. Fruits as in type variety.
Type: Makran, Prope Turbat, 250m, “Minor sandy wadis” 23.5.63, Popov 113 (BM).
Distribution: Pakistan (Baluchistan) and South Arabia.
