Perennial shrub, c. 50-60 cm tall; young branches white-silky. Stipules linear, c. 3 mm long. Leaves imparipinnate, 5.0-10.5 cm long. Leaflets 5-11, 2.5-4.5 cm long, 4.2-9.5 mm broad, narrowly oblanceolate, apex acute and mucronate, argenteocanescent on both surfaces. Inflorescence a terminal raceme, c. 9-30 cm long. Bracts c. 2.0 mm long. Pedicels c. 2.5-10.5 mm long. Calyx c. 4.0 mm long, densely pilose, teeth c. 2.0 mm long. Corolla purple. Vexillum c. 7.5-9 mm long, orbicular-cordate, apex emarginate, pilose externally. Wing c. 6.3-9 mm long, glabrous. Keel c. 5-8 mm long. Ovary sericeous, stigma penicillate. Fruit falcate to circinate, flat, c. 3.2-9.0 cm long, c. 6.5 mm broad, sparsely hairy, 3-5-seeded. Seeds obscurely reniform.
