Colutea paulsenii ssp. paulsenii
Shrub, up to 2 m tall, young shoots pubescent, hairs appressed, white, older shoots reddish brown, shining. Leaf 5-10 cm long, rachis with a few white hairs, leaflets 5-9, c. 7-20 mm long, c. 5-15 mm broad, broadly elliptic, obovate or subrotund, obtuse to retuse, glabrous to subglabrous above; stipules up to 2 mm long. Inflorescence a raceme, 3-5-flowered, c. 4-10 cm long. Bract c. 1.5 mm long, pubescent. Bracteoles c. 1 mm long, pubescent. Pedicel c. 6-12 mm long, pubescent. Calyx c. 7-10 mm long, pubescent, teeth c. 2.5-3.5 mm long. Corolla yellow. Vexillum c. 15-20 mm long. Fruit c. 4-8 cm long, c. 3.5 cm borad, ovate to broadly ovate, tip acuminate.
