Shrub, young branches densely tomentose. Leaf pinnately compound, rachis 3-4 cm long, persistent, spinescent; leaflets 6-10, 5-8 mm long, 3-4 mm broad, obovate-elliptical, acute, cuspidate, pubescent on both sides, stipules small. Inflorescence 2-5-flowered, pedunculate; peduncle 3-8 mm long. Bracteoles c. 2 mm long. Calyx 8-9 mm long, pubescent, teeth small. Vexillum c. 10-11 mm long. Ovary pubescent, style glabrous. Fruit not seen.
