Plant villous; stem small. Leaf imparipinnately compound, c. 2-3 cm long; leaflets 11-15, c. 3-6 mm long, c. 1.5-2.0 mm broad, lanceolate, acute, villous; stipules c. 6-8 mm long. Inflorescence a shortly peduncled raceme. Bracts c. 9-10 mm long, villous. Pedicel c. 1 mm long. Calyx c. 15-16 mm long, villous, teeth c. 9 mm long. Vexillum c. 13-14 mm long. Wing c. 13-14 mm long. Keel (including the mucro) c. 11 mm long, mucro c. 2.5 mm long. Ovary sessile, glabrous, style curved, stigma capitate.
Holotype: Kurram valley, Sikaram, 7000-12000 ft., among debris, 1879, Aitchison 435.916 (C). Type numbers, pro parte (K;BM).
Distribution: Pakistan (Kurram valley).
