Shrub, branches pubescent, hairs appressed white. Leaf imparipinnately compound, leaflets 13-15, densely white silky; stipules c. 6-7 mm long, linear, setaceous. Inflorescence an axillary pedunculate raceme, peduncle c.7-15 cm long. Bracts long setaceous, pubescent. Calyx c. 6-7 mm long, densely pubescent; teeth 2-2.5 mm long. Corolla pale yellow, tinged with lilac. Vexillum glabrous. Fruit c. 6-13 mm long, glabrous, bilocular, 6-8-seeded; stiped.

Holotype: Hazara, temperate region, 5000-9000 ft., J.L.Stewart (K-untraceable).
Distribution: Pakistan (Punjab); India (Kumaun), 5000-14000 ft.
