Perennial small shrub, covered with persistent spiny raches. Leaf paripinnately compound, leaflets 8-10, lanceolate, acute, c. 6-8.5 mm long; stipules adnate, membranous. Inflorescence capitate. Flowers subsessile. Bracts small, membranous, lanceolate. Calyx densely pubescent, teeth c. 6-7 mm long. Corolla longer than the calyx. Ovary sessile, densely pilose, few ovuled.

Distribution: Pakistan (Kurram valley).
