Astragalus patuli-pilosus Sirj. & Rech. f. in Biol. Skr. Dan. Vid. Selsk. 9(3): 166. 1957.

Stem procumbent, densely pubescent. Leaf imparipinnately compound, c. 4 cm long, leaflets 7, c. 8-10 mm long, c. 4 mm broad, elliptic, pubescent on both sides; stipules c. 1.5 mm long. Inflorescencea pedunculate raceme, peduncle c. 2.5-3.5 cm long, pubescent, hairs black and white. Bracts c. 2 mm long, pubescent, hairs black. Pedicel c. 1 mm long, pubescent, hairs white. Calyx c. 13-14 mm long, lower calyx teeth, c. 1-1.5 mm long, pubescent, hairs black and white, arranged in longitudinal rows. Vexillum c. 2 cm long. Wing and keel subequal, smaller than the vexillum. Ovary pubescent, stipitate.

Holotype: Shin Dand, 1400 m, anno 1949, Koie 4311 (W; C).

Distribution: Afghanistan; Pakistan.
