Astragalus xanthoxiphidiopsis Rech.f. in Biol.Skr.Dan.Vid.Selsk. 9(3): 169. 1957.
Perennial herb. Stem pubescent, hairs biramous, white and black. Leaf imparipinnately compound, 2.5-8.0 cm long, leaflets 7-19, 5-10 mm long, 1-3 mm broad, lanceolate, acute, pubescent on both sides; stipules 2.0-2.5 mm long. Inflorescence a pedunculate axillary raceme, peduncle 6-22 mm long. Bracts 3-4 mm long, white and black pubescent. Pedicel 2.0-2.5 mm long, pubescent. Calyx 12-16 mm long, pubescent, hairs black and white, teeth 3-4 mm long. Vexillum 22-25 mm long. Wing and keel smaller. Fruit 30-35 mm long, c. 2 mm broad, pubescent.
