Recent studies conducted in Karachi (Quresh & Faruqi, Pak. J. Bot.2:65. 1970) support this arrangement. More than 500 attempts to cross Rhynchosia minima (L.) DC. and Rhynchosia pulverulenta Stocks were not successful because of the non-germination of pollen on the stigma of the other species.
