Generally Lathyrus inconspicuous L. is the accepted name of this taxon, but the type of Lathyrus inconspicuous L. (Herb.Linn.905/7 (LINN) has exceptionally short and broad fruits (30 mm long, 6-7 mm broad), which can hardly be equated with this taxon. I have therefore adopted the next available name.
