Perennial, c. 50 cm tall, suberect. Petiole up to c. 1.4 cm long, leaflets up to 1 cm long, 6-9 mm broad, obovate, dentate, subglabrous below. Inflorescence a pedunculate 3-5-flowered raceme; peduncle c. 6 cm long. Pedicel 4-6 mm long, pubescent. Calyx c. 5 mm long, glabrous, teeth shorter than the tube. Vexillum c. 13 mm long. Fruit c. 20 mm long, c. 5 mm broad, glabrous, subsessile.

Holotype: Tange-e-Gharu, Schlucht des Kabul Flusses Ostich von Kabul, Schutt, 1600-1700 m, 21.5.1935, Scheibe Deutsche Hindukusch Expedition 66 (W, HAL).
