5. Nonea pulla (L.) DC., Fl. France, ed. 3.626. 1805. Riedl in Rech. f., Fl. Iran. 48:247.1967; Kazmi, l.c. 676.
YASIN J. NASIR
Lycopsis pulla L.
Kazmi (l.c. 677) mentions several gathering from Pakistan which need to be confirmed. Neither Riedl (l.c. 248) nor Baytop (in Davis, Fl. Turk. 6:418. 1978) mention it from our area. Possibly they are based on misidentifications of Nonea caspica. All the specimens I have examined have an annulus which is distinctive for Nonea caspica. R. R. Stewart 28277 (from Baluchistan) appears to approach Nonea pulla in the perennial habit-but has a smaller corolla and a hairy annulus like Nonea caspica.
