Valde affinis subsp. patrinoidi sed scapi in fructu 30-45 cm alti, folia basilia elongata, 20-30 cm longa plerumque rigida, petiolo et lamino aequaelongo; lobis + integris, ellipticis, sparce setosis.
Fl. Per.: June-August.
Type: A-7 Chitral: Shah Jinali, 3700 m.,fls. pale yellow, roots beneath 6 inches of dry loam or crevices, facing south, 28. VI 1958, Bowes Lyon 1024 (BM).
Distribution : Endemic.
Distinguished from the type subsp. patrinoides by its elongated leaves, somewhat rigid in texture, long petiole (about as long as the lamina), and + entire elliptic lobes.
