Gagea setifolia var. aitchisoniana (Terracc.) Pascher
Plants single, low, smooth. Bulb 10-15 mm in diameter, oviform, covered by brownish-grey, tunics, continued in fiberous neck (0.5 cm long), without sclerified roots. Generative specimens without bulbils. Peduncle 4-8 cm long, up to half immersed in soil, roundish in T.S., 1 mm in diameter. Basal leaf single, linear, slightly longer than the inflorescence, c. 1 mm broad, roundish in T.S. Leaves on peduncle 2(-3), verticillate; lower leaf equal to or longer than the inflorescence, narrowly-lanceolate, 2-3 mm broad, pointed, cymbiform in T.S. Inflorescence 1-2-flowered; pedicels of different length (0.5-20 mm), elongated. Tepals broadly elliptic, (at the end of flowering their tips roll-up and seem to be pointed), 8-12 mm long, elongating at anthesis, 3-4 mm broad, bright yellow inside, green outside, internal tepals pale at the margin, little shorter than the external. Anthers yellow, linear (3-4 mm long), dehiscence oblong (about 2 mm long). Capsule almost spherical. Seeds thin flat.
