Folia 9-15 (-17) x 3-5 mm, pubescentia, ovarium glabrum, stylus 8 usque -9-plo longior quam stigmata.

Leaves 9-15 (-17) x 3-5 mm, appressed pubescent. Ovary glabrous. Style c. 9 mm long, stigma 1-1.1 mm long, cylindrical. Style 8 to 9 times the length of the stigma.

Type: Pakistan, Baluchistan, Brori near Quetta, Sultanul Abedin 4893 (KUH).

Ziarat, Sharif 5769 (PPFI-M), Quetta to Sibi, Lamond 710 (E), Maslakh, Sultan, Stewart 28342 (RAW), Urak, Stewart 28354 (RAW), D-6 D.I. Khan. Sulaiman Range, Lamond 1494 (E).

Distribution: Pakistan (Baluchistan).

Common in upper Baluchistan on open rocky ground and stony slopes at c. 1500 m. Can be distinguished from the type var. leiocalycinus on account of its glabrous ovary, style 8-9 times the length of stigma and smaller leaf size.
