Diffusely branched herb, 20-25 cm high. Branches appressed-pilose. Leaves 15-54 x-2-8 mm, sessile, appressed sericeous-pilose, linear-oblanceo
late to linear, attenuate, acute. Flowering throughout the length of the stem. Flowers axillary, 1-2, on slender peduncles, 20-32 (-47) mm long. Bracts linear-oblanceolate, upper bracts linear. Bracteoles c. 3 mm long, linear. Pedicel short, as long as or slightly longer than the bracteoles. Sepals 4-5 mm long, pilose, the outer bigger, obovate, acuminate, inner obovate, caudate, both halves membranous and glabrous. Corolla 7-8 mm long. Ovary glabrous, style filiform, 1½ to 2 times the length of stigma. Capsule 5 x 4 mm, subglobose, glabrous. Seeds 4, brown-black, 2 mm long, white-pubescent.

Also collected from Baluchistan, Chib, (Mc Cann 127-A), Waziristan, Wahir, (Blatter 370), but I have not seen these gatherings.
