Type: Baltistan: Skoro La - Nangbrok, c.4300 m, Weiler s.n. (W).
Distribution: Known only from the type locality in the Karakorams.
R.R. Stewart (l.c. 259) remarks that it is said to be related to the widespread W. Asiatic Aconitum rotundifolia.
