Chrysanthemum morii Hayata
Plant with creeping rhizomes. Stems ascending, few-branched, densely silver-sericeous, becoming glabrate. Cauline leaves thick, petiolate, broadly ovate to broadly obovate, 2.5-4×1.5-2.5 cm, base cuneate into a petiole 7-17 mm long, palmately pinnatifid or trifid or trilobed, segments acute to obtuse, dentate, green and appressed pubescent above, becoming glabrate, densely silver-sericeous beneath. Heads 2.5-3 cm across, solitary, long-pedunculate; involucres sub-hemispheric, 15×7-8 mm, bracts imbricate, brown-margined, outer ovate to oblong, middle and inner broadly ovate. Ray florets: corolla white, 1.5 cm×4 mm. Disc florets: corolla greenish-yellowish, 3.5 mm long, 5-dentate. Achenes 2 mm long, slightly curved, 5-grooved.

Endemic; on limestone cliffs of eastern Taiwan, 400-2,400 m, rare.
