Plants annual. Taproot slender. Leaves lobed to 1-3-pinnate. Peduncles terminal and lateral. Involucre of 1 to few minute bracts or lacking. Involucel of a few linear bractlets. Flowers white to light purple. Calyx teeth prominent. Fruit broadly ovoid to sub-orbicular, glabrous; mericarps not separating readily in ours; fruit ridges thin; vittae obscure. Inner seed face concave.
A genus of the Mediterranean region with 3 species.
