Plants annual. Leaves pinnate; segments lanceolate to oblong. Flowers white. Calyx 5-toothed. Fruit prickly and tuberculate; dorsal and intermediate ridges prominent; secondary and lateral inconspicuous; vittae obscure. Inner seed face deeply grooved.
AS.W. Asiatic genus of 4 or 5 species. It resembles Turgenia but the fruit structure is different.
