Ligusticum thomsonii var. evolutior C.B. Clarke
Up to 50 cm tall, glabrous. Leaves pinnate, up to 15 cm long; pinnae oval to ovate, c. 1 cm long, pinnatifid to pinnatipartite. Rays 10-15, 1-1.5 cm long. Involucre of a few linear bracts or lacking. Involucel of 5-8 filiform to linear, white margined bractlets. Fruit 3 mm long, 1.5 mm broad, subterete; ridges narrowly winged, dorsal and intermediate almost as broad as the lateral; furrows 2-3-vittate. Inner seed face plane.
Type: Described from W. Tibet.
Distribution: Afghanistan, Ladak in Tibet, Kashmir, Chitral and Gilgit Agency in W. Pakistan.
