[N.B.: if no corollas are present on the specimen, the calyx length can often be a guide to corolla length, but a fruiting calyx of 5 mm or more does not necessarily mean that the corolla is 5 mm long or more; in some of the very small-flowered genera the calyces are small or minute in flower but greatly enlarge after anthesis].
