Hymenidium brunonis Lindl.Hymenolaena brunonis DC.Pleurospermum densiflorum (Lindl.) Bth. ex C.B. Clarke
Plants up to 30 cm tall. Tap roots, long, tapering. Stems 1 or more from the base. Leaves 2-4-pinnate; segments linear. Involucre of 4-6 broadly white-margined bracts, entire or lobed at the apex. Rays 5-10. Involucel of 5-8, almost white, oblong, bractlets. Fruit oblong; ridges narrowly winged; furrows 1-2-vittate; commissure 2-4-vittate.
Type: N.W. India, Royle (K).
Distribution: Himalayas in India and W. Pakistan.
O.E. Schulz has described forma latisectum from Mt. Apharwat in Kashmir. This has ovate pinnae.
