Plants c. 1 m tall, glabrous. Upper stem with few leaves. Leaves pinnate; pinnae minutely pubescent, pinnatifid to pinnatipartite. Base of umbel pubescent. Involucre of 1-5 linear bracts or lacking. Rays 12-20. Involucel of 4-6 linear bractlets. Fruit dorsally compressed, broadly oval to almost orbicular, 3-4 mm long; lateral ridges winged; furrows 3-vittate; commissure 6-8-vittate.
Type: India, Simla, Thomson (K).
Distribution: Himalayas. Reported from W. Pakistan in Chitral by Kerstan.
