Roemeria hybrida subsp. hybrida
Annual, 20-30 cm tall herb, more or less hairy. Leaves 2-3 pinnately cut; ultimate segments linear, 10-20 (-30) mm long, 1.5-2.5 (-3) mm broad, with a prominent mid rib. Capsule 5-7 cm long, 2-3 mm broad, partially setose, at least at the apex, usually with a 3-9 mm long curved peduncle.
Type: South Europe Herb. Linn. no. 668/6 (LINN).
Distribution: France, Russia, Turkey, W. Pakistan and N. Africa.
This European type subspecies is reported for the first time from West Pakistan and is perhaps introduced.
