Annual, 5-30 cm tall herb, densely hispid. Leaves 2 (-3)-pinnatisect; ultimate segments ovate oblong, 3-10 mm long 1-2.5 mm broad with a pointed bristle at the tip. Capsule 2.5-6 cm long, 1.5-2 mm broad, densely setose, usually with erect peduncle.
Type: In desertis Kahirinis, Forsskhal (C).
Distribution: Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Russia, Afghanistan and West Pakistan.
