Hypecoum parviflorum Kar. & Kir.
Similar to the type variety in habit, but differs in having outer petal entire and elliptic, 8-10 mm long, inner petals not lobed up to the middle, central lobe less fimbriate. Fruits 3-5 cm long, 3-5 mm broad; pseudo-dehiscent, breaking into one seeded portions which come out from the persistent skin like epidermis. seed brownish red, planoconvex, c. 2 mm long.

Type: “Hab. in arenosis songoriae ad fl. Lepsa.”.
Distribution: Russian Turkestan, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
