Fagonia echinella Boiss.
Suberect to prostrate, up to 20 cm tall, covered with stipitate minutely capitate glands. Branches spreading, procumbent, internodes up to 18 (-20) mm long. Lower leaves trifoliolate, with 5-7 mm long petiole, upper leaves unifoliolate, with c. 2 mm long petiole; leaflets up to 10 mm long, c. 2-3 mm broad, mucronate; stipular spines slightly recurved, equal to or longer than leaves. Sepals ovate, 2-3 mm long, persistent or deciduous. Petals spathulate, up to c. 6 mm long, c. 2.5 mm broad, pinkish-purple. Capsule c. 4 mm long, 3-4 mm broad, fruit pedicel reflexed, shorter or equal to capsule.

Common in Baluchistan and North Western Frontier Province.
