Fagonia diversifolia Boiss.
Perennial, sparsely glandular hairy to glabrescent shrublet, 25-30 cm tall. Branches suberect to erect, internodes 2-4.5 cm long. Lower leaves trifoliolate, long petioled, upper leaves unifoliolate, shortly petiolate; leaflets linear-oblong, muc¬ronate; stipular spines shorter than leaves. Capsule c. 4 mm long and broad, pedicel shorter to longer than capsule.

Type: South Iran, near Dalechi, Kotschy 128(G).
Distribution: Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Arabia, Bahrein, Egypt and westwards to central Sahara.
